Field Report - April 2010
Only 6 months ago, the Mully Children's Family was devastated by a severe drought in East Africa. Their water sources had run dry, their fields were drying up, their crops were dying and their neighbours in the community were struggling without access to water or food.
Today, we have a very different story to tell. Since December there has been much rain in Kenya. The Thika River is filled to the brim, the fields are lush and green again, and crops are going strong.
We are grateful for the many Canadians that supported MCF during this period of drought and devastation through your prayers and financial support. With your help, MCF was able to continue providing the best quality care and services for the 2,000 children they serve and they were also able to reach out to the community, providing food and water for thousands of families in desperate need.
